Lakeside Tree Planting

The project

Living Landscapes was requested by our client JLES on behalf of a construction company to plant a row of 4 tree's at this location in Lakeside, Ebbw Vale. We decided on Pyrus Calleryana 'Chanticleer' because it's a relatively tough species for this moderately exposed location and most importantly; it has a compact crown width of approximately 3 - 4 m. This means it will not cause future issues with maintenance, so will be adopted by the Council and meet the construction companies business requirements too. Getting a job like this done right first time can save 1000s if not 10000s because tree's are notorious for causing issues with services, lighting and the hard landscaping.
